A tentative program of the conference is available
The objective of this conference is to bring together researchers interested in the study of combinatorial, algorithmic, geometric, and topological structure of graphs occurring in metric graph theory and related fields such as geometric group theory, concurrency theory, or combinatorial optimization. This conference aims at connecting quite distant areas of mathematics and computer science via common or similar distance and discrete models.
We would like to cover the following list of topics:
- structural metric graph theory
- connections with discrete geometry
- connections with geometric group theory
- finite metric spaces
- algorithmic aspects of metric graph theory
- interactions with other fields of theoretical computer science (concurrency theory, machine learning, combinatorial optimization).
For each topic, we will have invited talks as well as contributed talks of the participants.
PhD students and post-doctoral researchers are encouraged to propose contributed talks.
Application for pre-registration is now open and will remain possible until October 6, 2021 : https://conferences.cirm-math.fr/2402.html
We hope that the sanitary situation will allow most of the participants to come to Marseille. In any cases, it will be possible to participate remotely and to follow the presentations online.
Participants interested by giving a contributed talk should send an email with a title and an abstract to mgt-2021@lis-lab.fr before October 6, 2021.
A limited number of grants will be available to help people to come to the conference. If you want to apply for one of them, please inform us by sending an email to mgt-2021@lis-lab.fr as soon as possible and not later than October 6, 2021.
